Apply now Our clients are an enterprising building services design consultancy who are looking to expand its busy north Manchester office with the addition of a Mechanical Design Engineer to play a key role in the development of the office. Established in 2009 to bring together like minded engineers who have a wide base of experience in all aspects of building services engineering. The practice is currently involved in a multi million pound programme of building services engineering projects worldwide. They will offer the right candidates the ability to grow within the profession and to gain from the company's success.Responsibilities will include:Compiling design reports, specifications, drawings and other contract documents as required.Approving detailed design information and calculations.Witnessing and accepting testing and commissioning procedures for project plant equipment and systems.Ensuring compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory Authorities and obligations and make submissions and obtain approvals as necessary.Obtaining the necessary information both internally and externally from Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Design Consultants for the design to proceed.Prospective candidates will have relevant experience in HVAC building services projects, including areas such as plant specification, heat loss/gain calculations and a track record of having worked on a variety of Building Services designs covering for example, Education, Healthcare and commercial projects. Applicants should be comfortable seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients.
