This is a varied position, in which you will work with a close-knit team. My client designs, supplies and installs Automated Handling Systems and they have been established for over 40 years. The successful candidate will be involved in the process from design through to installation. My client has a global presence and they work with many prestigious clients. Responsibilities Designing automated handling systems, including lifts, conveyors and steelworks using AutoCADCalculating material stressesMotor and power calculationsLiaising with sub-contractors, particularly in relation to any installationsPreparing proposals, providing estimates and technical specifications for client requirementsVisiting client sites to discuss projects and undertaking site surveys Experience/ Skills Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2DExperience of designing material handling systems or special purpose machineryMust be capable of detailing mechanical drawingsCommercial awareness My client offers a competitive remuneration package, as well as good company benefits and an early finish on Friday.
