Apply now Our client based in the Birmingham area require a number of Mechanical Fitters on a long term and permanent basis. The role is based mainly in the workshop and it involves overhauling electric motors, gearboxes, pumps, generators alternators etc. You must be a time served Mechanical or Electrical Fitter with experience of overhauling electric motors, pumps and other rotating equipment, repairing, changing seals, bearings etc., basically full refurbishment. Any electrical skills would be a distinct advantage. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30om and Friday 8am - 3.30pm. This is a permanent position with a trial period.
