Apply now Job Title - Mobile Electrician (Building Maintenance Bias) Location -North East and Scottish Borders - Newcastle, Gretna, Carlisle, Penrith and surrounding areas Salary - Up to £32,600 (depending upon experience), plus company Van, Pension, health plan Our client is a market leading Facilities Management company enjoying substantial growth with an impressive multi-site customer retail base. As a result of continued growth we are now looking to recruit a Fabric Maintenance Electrician with a building maintenance bias to cover a number of retail sites across North East and Cumbria. Job Description: Please note that this role is 80% Fabric/Building Maintenance with 20% being Electrical Maintenance - Please only apply if you are comfortable with this requirement. Fabric Key Responsibilities: - • Maintenance and repair of general building fabric of retail outlets whilst complying with company Health and safety policy. • Regular planned store visits to complete PPM tasks and minor repairs requested by the store manager. • Undertaking minor ground works, joinery, carpentry, general building, unblocking drains, decorating and any other typical maintenance duties, completing make safes and temp fixes. Electrical To maintain and repair a range of electrical distribution systems and BP specific food related equipment within the BP retail fuel outlets in an efficient and cost-effective manner Comply with the company health and safety policy To undertake regular planned maintenance visits To undertake a variety of legal compliance electrical testing including emergency lighting, fire alarm and in-house servicing of equipment To undertake a variety of electrical repairs arising from periodic inspection and testing Qualifications/skills required: Essential: City & Guilds 17th edition C&G Part 1 & 2 Elec Installation - Minimum NVQ level 3 qualification Full driving licence Flexibility Desirable: City & Guilds Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent IPaf 1B PASMA Safety Passport Alliance UKPIA JIB Electrician / approved This role is also on a standby of 1 in every 3 weeks.
