Apply now Would you consider a Mobile Technician role with a main dealership? This is an opportunity that does not arise often!! My client is seeking to employ a Mobile Technician to join their team of Technician's within a recently expanded workshop at their dealership located in Kent. You will be responsible for remotely manoeuvring around to customers doorsteps, providing excellent customer services from diagnosing their vehicles to carrying out the smaller repairs. You will be fully equipped with all the necessary tools, equipment, transport and a mobile phone. In saying that, we're on the hunt for someone who is looking for something slightly different, who will enjoy travelling whilst representing the company to the highest standard and ensuring customers are fully satisfied with all the services. A little more about the role… Remotely travelling to customers doorsteps/ vehicles to diagnose any faults and carry out small repairs making full use of all equipment provided within the vanServicing and repairing vehicles maintaining the highest level of service within the dealership whilst you are not on call for a repairDiagnosing and rectifying any faults found including any electrical faults whilst on call and within the workshopEnsuring an effective use of tools and equipmentCommunicating with customers effectively, keeping them updated with the progress of their vehicle, additional work to be carried out or any further problemsRepresent the company to the highest standard at all times, within the workshop and whilst out on the roadAdhering to all manufacturer, company and dealership policies and proceduresEnsuring all relevant paperwork has been completedReporting directly to the Workshop Controller/ Service ManagerLiaising with the service department ensuring effective communicationUtilising the mobile phone provided to contact customers upon and prior to arrival, as well as liaise with the service department directlyUndertaking any additional work requested by the Workshop Controller/ Service manager What are we looking for in you? A qualified City & Guilds Levels 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent NVQ Motor Vehicle Technician Experience within a main dealership environment (minimum 2 years) is necessaryA self-motivated individual with the drive to progress further and achieve outstanding resultsExcellent organisational, interpersonal and time management skillsWorking efficiently and effectively to increase productivity rateThe ability to always provide a high standard of service at any given timeA Full UK Driving Licence - is necessary!You will be required to work Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am-5pm. (Please note you will not exceed these hours of work as a Mobile Techncian) What will you be rewarded with for all your hard work? A recently increased basic salary of £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience with an OTE of £29,500 -£31,500 Additional company benefits will be disclosed when you apply to the position.
