Apply now We are currently looking for experienced Operating Department practitioners or Theatre Nurses to work for a leading mobile healthcare provider. This role involves traveling around the UK to many mobile theatres situated at Private and NHS hospitals. The permanent position will involve traveling all over the UK including Scotland and Ireland Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm The position comes with a competitive starting salary of £30k (Monday to Thursday) and time and a third for Fridays, Company car, Fuel expenses, Hotel and meal allowance. The post holder may be required to work as part of a team, as the sole representative in a host hospital team or a unit facilitator. FLEXIBILITY: The post requires flexibility as it involves considerable travel including nights away from home. Candidate Requirements:A professional qualification as either a Registered Nurse or an Operating Department PractitionerCompetent in two of the following specialities: Anesthetics, Scrub, Recovery or Endoscopy.Excellent communication skillsProfessional attitudeA thorough understanding of the unit?s systemsMinimum two years appropriate operating theatre department experienceCurrent full driving licence FLEXIBILITY:The post requires flexibility as it involves considerable travel including nights away from home.
