This is an exciting opportunity with real responsibility working with a busy, successful PCV Operator in Edinburgh. Our client runs a fleet of more than 30 vehicles including a range of brands. To help manage and maintain this fleet we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Foreman to help supervise and motivate the team of Vehicle Technicians. You will be responsible for overseeing and allocating work to a team of mechanics, managing their workload as well as quality controlling their work. You must be able to demonstrate a strong background working on Buses or HGVs and possess excellent diagnostic skills as you will be responsible for assisting and completing more complex and challenging diagnostic jobs. We are looking for an ambitious individual who has previous experience as a Foreman, who managed a team previously and can show good man management skills matched with great mechanical and diagnostic experience. You should be SVQ or City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified. A PCV licence would be preferred but not essential.
