Apply now Paralegal £20K - £25K per annum | Cambridge | Permanent We are looking for a Paralegal to join our highly regarded Growth team at our Cambridge Office. Our Growth Team has its roots in our commercial and technology practice and has grown so quickly and successfully that it now operates as a standalone department with the firm. Our lawyers are regarded within the Cambridge eco-system as the pre-eminent advisors to entrepreneurs, start-up technology business and their investors in the Cambridge area, and we aspire to continue to build upon our growing reputation in the London market. We have an entrepreneurial mindset, recognising that law does not operate in a vacuum, but also within a commercial context, and our clients value our deep understanding of their technology areas; our methodology and approach to service delivery; and the fact that we know their businesses, and the challenges that they face. Many of our lawyers have science degrees. We also believe that as well as passion for our clients' business and technology, we have a distinct personality that enables us to align with our clients. We see ourselves as part of their businesses rather than a service provider outside of them. The Growth Team are deployed across our three offices: our Cambridge office is at the heart of one of the world's leading and most well-established technology clusters; our London office is based on the edge of "Tech City" within a couple of minutes' walk from Old Street roundabout; our Asia Pacific office is based in Singapore. You will be based in our Cambridge office and will be responsible for assisting the existing team members to better support and service the Growth team client base and continuing the development and growth of the team's practice generally. The ideal candidate for this role will bring the same entrepreneurial flair that we see in our clients to this position, which means that we will also look to the successful candidate to be proactive in suggesting new ways of working both internally and with our clients, and taking the initiative to help us to build our practice and improve our systems and processes. You will ideally have experience of working in a law firm, enthusiasm, a great sense of humor and boundless energy.
