We are seeking to appoint a driven and confident part time Teaching Assistant to work within the year 4 class in a large primary school located in the centre of Cardiff. The position is to work 3 days a week starting at 8.30 and finishing at 3.30.The school are looking for a part time teaching assistant that is able to establish a good working relationship with both staff members and children always ensuring the best learning outcome is aiming to be achieved. You will need to be able to work independently and using your own initiative but also be able to work as part of a friendly and welcoming team.The role will is to support children in the year 4 and help the class teacher in the undertaking of his/her duties.Ideally you will have experience of working with children in a school setting as well as experience of working within KS2.
