Within this role you will supervise a team, to operate and maintain a new food waste anaerobic digestion plant inc Boiler & autoclave technology. This area of the business is currently going through new innovation to continuously improve on how they produce energy to achieve the company's renewable energy objectives. Due to the nature of the role it is vital you have knowledge and experience of Health and Safety regulations and practices, as you will have responsibility for delivering full compliance with all safety, customer, and environmental standards. This will involve active promotion of a safe working environment through safety discussions, and site monitoring. Experience of leading and motivating a team is needed as you will be a key asset in managing the operational and maintenance (O&M) workforce to achieve agreed production rates, quality control, and compliance of the operations against internal and regulatory standards. Experience in covering operational requirements of the boiler & autoclave (Boiler operator training). Proven experience in managing operational budgets and forecasting is essential as you will be interpreting performance data to aid informed decisions to ensure best practice and operational excellence across the team. Strong stakeholder skills are required in this role as you will be working alongside other areas of the business to manage the relationship with waste suppliers and provide an excellent customer experience. As a Plant Supervisor, experience in the following areas are desired: *Good use of IT systems, specifically sit monitoring systems. *Full UK Driving Licence *Experience in Environmental Permit Management. *WAMITAB CoTC Level 4.* *Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) CertIBO or DipBOM *IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent. If not in possession of any of these, a willingness to study for them. *An understanding of maintenance disciplines (mechanicalelectrical and instrumentation). *Experience with working with mobile plant and machinery.
