Apply now Vehicle Technician required for well renowned dealer group based in SloughOur clients are a well renowned dealer group with over 65 years experience within the automotive industry. They have 8 dealerships across Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, South East London and Middle sex area, compromising of 5 different franchises and they currently have an opening for an experienced Vehicle Technician to enhance their team within the workshop at their dealership based in Slough. You will be responsible for carrying out general service and repairs, stripping, fitting and replacing components within a specified time, fault finding using manufacturer diagnostic tools, carrying out road tests, meeting set monthly targets, completing paperwork effectively and efficiently, and working to tight deadlines whilst producing first class workmanship.The successful candidate must hold a City and Guilds / NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 or an equivalent recognised qualification and have a minimum of 2 year's work history post qualification. You must possess your own tools and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working within a target driven workshop. You will have outstanding attention detail, taking pride in your work and you must have a Full UK Licence. A stable work history is essential to be considered for this role. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with an hour for Lunch and Every other Saturday Morning 8:30-12:30pmIn return you will be offered manufacture training from the day you start and will be provided with log in details for online training from day one as well as factory training.
