Over the last 20 years the firm has enjoyed great success in various areas of property consultancy including cost management, building surveying, facilities management and health and safety. The role of the Principal Designer / CDM Consultant As the Principal Designer / CDM Consultant your main responsibilities will include: Carry out duties in accordance with CDM 2015Identifying and managing design related risksProvide a role as Principal Designer conducting yourself accordinglyCommunicating effectively with contractors, designers and clientsReviewing and monitoring designers' compliancePlan, coordinate and manage the pre-construction phase of projectsEnsuring designers comply with CDM regulations The Successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant The successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant should ideally hold the following: Expert knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regs 2007 and 2015NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and SafetyIOSH membership/aPS membership (minimum)Professional qualification in designing, building surveying or engineering disciplineAbility to manage own time effectively, prioritise workload and ability to lead own projects The Package of the successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant: Basic Salary of up to £50,000 based on experienceExcellent contributory pension scheme Company Car or Car Allowance suppliedLife assurance and Childcare vouchers26 days' annual leave + Bank HolidaysProfessional subscriptions If you are a Principal Designer / CDM Consultant in the Birmingham commutable distance to Chiswick please contact Chris Austwick at Brandon James.
