Apply now Process Engineer - NPI Engineer - Automotive - Cannock Brooklyn Recruitment currently have a fantastic role available for Process Engineer /NPI Engineer to join a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry. The company are based in the Cannock area on the West Midlands / Staffordshire boarder. As Process Engineer / NPI Engineer you will be taking responsibility for improving manufacturing processes and introducing new processes. Your duties will involve: Trying new toolingProducing parts for prototypes and pre-production runsDesigning process training and documentation for new partsInputting into continuous improvement initiativesApplying lean manufacturing principlesSpecifying new toolingOther duties as required To be suitable for this position of Process Engineer / NPI Engineer you should hold a formal engineering or manufacturing qualification and have experience in an automotive environment. You should also understand lean manufacturing processes as well as being able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. Previous experience with plastics, rubbers and foams would be an advantage. The working hours for this Process Engineer / NPI Engineer's role are Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 1pm!
