As such, they are looking to recruit a Production Planner for their head office in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that is passionate about its product and its growing consumer base.The role will oversee all elements of pouch filling, including production planning, stock control, forecasting and reporting. This will include timely delivery of raw materials to co-packers, daily calls to the co-packer to agree scheduling and review production, liaison with order co-ordinator to ensure swift order confirmation and despatch arrangements.Role*Be main point of contact with the powder co-packer for day to day issues regarding production*Agree weekly production targets with co-packer to ensure production is planned in a cost-efficient manner whilst maintaining stocks to the agreed levels and ensuring continuity of supply*Arrange call off with own warehouse to co-packer of raw materials and packaging to complete the production plan*Attend and contribute to monthly forecast review meetings*Using forecast information produce and agree with the co-packer the long-term production requirements*Maintain stocks of Finished Goods and components on internal systems at all relevant stock holding locations*Analyse monthly variances and ensure accurate information is available in a timely fashion*Undertake regular physical stock takes at co-packer, analyse variances and wastage of raw materials, packaging and finished goods*Monthly KPIs for co-packer to monitor performance, to include OTIF order despatch, actual production v's plan, actual wastage v's target for blend and packaging*Weekly KPIs for on time in full despatch, production, stock availability Candidate*Ideally degree educated or equivalent*Experience within a busy demanding office environment *Production planning and stock control experience within manufacturing and supply chain*Experience of working with co-packers*Experience of dealing with major UK retailers*Extensive use of ERP / stock management systems *Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills*Well organised and able to juggle tasks effectively*High level of speed and accuracy*Confident with IT/Stock systems *Numerate and with Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
