Apply now A global manufacturing company based near Leamington Spa are looking for a production supervisor to join their successful team. Fantastic production facilities on site, along with a team of over 50 staff across the manufacturing side, who implement lean and continuous improvement daily.The roleAs Production Supervisor you would have Supervised/Managed a busy production facility with up to 20 direct reports. Required to support the achievement of delivery and customer requirements through the efficient management and control of the production area ensuring process adherence, maintaining good employee relations, promoting teamwork and the provision of a safe working environment. Also you must ensure the achievement of agreed budgets and implementation of quality standards.Key duties:~ Plan and organise production capacity (personnel and equipment) in order to meet customer programmed requirements.~ Monitor and control production key performance indicators, cost, process, quality, delivery, housekeeping, absence etc in accordance with company requirements.~ Material plan and Control~ Process Capability~ Support and drive continuous improvement activities in order to optimise equipment and processes.~ Work with manufacturing teams and other areas of the plant to ensure supply to customer of good quality products, on time, in correct quantity and in problem resolution.~ Leadership of direct reports, building effective teams, develop motivation and commitment, maintain morale and action all disciplinary issues.~ Interview, hiring, training, KPI setting, monitoring, appraisals, and disciplinaries ~ Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the company including Health and Safety,Environmental and be pro-active in the development of a safe working environmentSuccessful candidate:To be successful in the role of Production Supervisor you will be able to demonstrate previous management experience gained within a similar role and have experience of productivity key figures e.g. Performance. Must also be capable of operating within an agreed budget, be able to set clear quality objectives and have strong resource allocation. Must have a strong understanding of lean tools including 5, Kaizen, VSM and Six Sigma.Working hours are 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday.Package on offer:Basic salary of £28 - £30K dependent on experience, however salary can be negotiable for the ideal candidate25 days holiday plus bank holidaysAnnual production bonus calculated on overall company profitabilityYearly salary reviewsPension scheme Please note, if your application is suitable, one of our consultants will call you within 5 working days.
