We are currently looking for a Development Worker to work with the Area Education Lead - Family Learning to support the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) projects Building Better Opportunities is an exciting collaboration that aims to meet the needs for families living in West Sussex, who remain the most excluded from the workforce. This project embeds the Supported Employment Model within all its practice and all partners have signed up to this vision. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with all the Building Better Opportunities practitioners and promote a one project approach while still maintaining the expectation of Aspire Sussex Ltd. The successful candidate will manage and assure our community that their ideas, concerns and expectations are being heard and responded to effectively to support the quality improvement process and maintain high standards of customer excellence. The post holder will coordinate BBO activities within West Sussex and ensure that outputs and outcomes are met according to the contact requirements. Applicants will need strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate relevant ICT skills, including Microsoft Office. Candidates must be educated to degree level or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience. A level 4 teaching qualification and experience of the Adult Education sector is preferred. The post will be based at either our Burgess Hill or Littlehampton office, however, travel to other Aspire sites across West Sussex will be required.
