Hours: Days, 8-4:30pmDuration: Permanent Salary: 35 - 36K DOE Kinetic are currently recruiting for a Mechanical or Electrical Project Engineer, with Food/Packaging sector experience ideally, to work for our client based in the East Cheshire area. THE ROLE:The position of Project Engineer will consist of the following tasks and duties; *Managing process from order to completion. This will involve liaising with the sales, design and production teams whilst also keeping the customer up to date with any changes/updates. *Manage projects for the range of clients machines and tools to ensure customer deadlines are met.*Attend customer site if required with Sales Engineer to clarify customer requirements. Where necessary make modifications to proposal.*Liaise with on-site engineers to ensure that all production trials are completed.*Upon receipt of order ensure that a detailed handover is carried out with Design and Systems.*Ensure the customer's specification is adhered to and is within the agreed timescales.*Keep customer informed at relevant stages of the machine build.*Prepare and complete all documentation necessary for machine delivery to customer site.*If required attend customer site to oversee the installation of machine.*Maintain customer relationship to ensure customer satisfaction.*Where necessary respond promptly to requests to attend customer sites for the purpose of breakdown of machines / fault finding.THE CANDIDATE:To be considered for the Project Engineer, you will ideally be; * Time served or apprentice qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering.* Food sector experience, either within project work or hands on maintenance.* Project Management experience ideally but not essential if have relevant food sector experience and engineering knowledge.* Able to work well on your own and as a team as need to liaise with different departments and customer.TO APPLY:If you feel you are well suited to the Project Engineer position, please click on the APPLY button and forward your most up to date CV for consideration.
