Apply now A brand new opportunity for a Project Engineer specialising in the Rail sector to join a global design and consultancy firm on an initial 6 Month contract in London. Our client provides a range of multi-disciplinary rail services to a variety of transportation projects throughout the UK and globally. They have specialist experience with highly complex projects which has led to a catalogue of notable clients and an increasing workload. The selected candidate will join a Design and Build team and be responsible for managing the internal assurance activities for the rail programme and further develop and implement the assurance programme. Key duties will include: Tracking progress and resolving issues.Coordination of work activities and contributing to planning activities across various projects.Engagement with stakeholders and interaction with across multiple business functions including central and route based teams.Supporting the identification, management and resolution of risk.Support with financial and progress reports. Essential skills, experience and attributes: Strong financial and progress reporting.Experience of stakeholder management.Demonstrable experience of project delivery in the public sector.Relevant experience delivering data or systems integration projects.Experience with project budget, schedule, risks, change and resource management.Prince2/PMP qualificationStrong IT skills including MS Office.Excellent presentation skills To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK without visa restrictions.
