It manufactures plastic components for the automotive industry. It has a long established client base with fantastic exposure to well known organisations globally. The organisation are currently recruiting for a Tooling Engineer to join the ever growing business due to their fantastic succession plans. Your new roleYour new role will be in the capacity of a Tooling Engineer. You will be responsible for the tool / project costings, control of advance quality planning (APQP) and designing of new tools. In order to complete this, you will liaise directly with the toolmakers and look at historical issues and interpret complex graphic illustrations to complete the task to the best of your ability. You will also be responsible for the sign off of new tools for the production use. What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed, it would be beneficial that you have 5 years experience within a Tooling Engineer capacity and have experience of working in a fast passed, forward thinking environment. It would be beneficial that you have a HND in Engineering however that isn't a necessity. Experience of dealing with plastics, and in specific, experience of injection moulding would be ideal.
