The teaching assistants must have a strong desire to enter the education sector and work with young people. Experience of working with children and/or experience of special needs is a bonus, but not necessary at all.We have schools looking to recruit staff for the start of the new term and most teaching assistant roles will begin on the 16th April 2018. You may be required to work 1:1 with some students, supporting them in their numeracy and literacy, or you may be required to support the whole class.As a new member of staff, you will be given an induction by Prospero and allocated a line manager in the school. Guidance and support if offered by the consultant at Prospero and also from the school.
