Apply now Our client are looking for qualified PWP's to deliver brief psychological interventions, psycho-education, assist with self-help material and assessing social needs. They provide a primary care psychological therapies service that offers support to people who are emotional distressed and looks at how they can support them in their recovery. You will be focusing on providing low level support to clients experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression. This will be carried out via face to face and telephone appointments and the use of computerised CBT packages, also signposting to appropriate services where needed. They are looking for the following to join their expanding business: 3 x Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Salary: £19,947 Location: Cannock & Stafford, Staffordshire These positions will form part of their Primary Care triage service and will cover assessments in their IAPT service as well as in community triage services in the Staffordshire area. Previous experience in an IAPT role would be of an advantage. Experience of dealing with long term conditions would also be advantageous but full training will be provided. They are also looking to build a bank team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to work at both their Cannock and Stafford sites.
