I am working closely with a unique school in the Newport area, who are currently recruiting for a sporty, determined, robust and resilient Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to help engage children with their learning. The role will be working both 1-to-1 with children and within small groups, supporting them with Literacy, Numeracy and any other subject areas where they may need extra help in achieving their full potential. The school supports children with; Challenging BehaviourSocial, Emotional & Mental Health DifficultiesModerate Learning DifficultiesAnxiety The school caters for children aged 11-19 but the syllabus is less traditional than a mainstream school, with more vocational subjects offered alongside the usual Core Subjects. There will be support and continuous training on Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional & Mental Health Difficulties and they are welcoming candidates of ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS to apply!
