Apply now Contractor Co-ordinator - Home based - South - Birmingham - Reading - Salary £26k + Car, Laptop and Phone Our client is a very large Insurance Service Provider looking for an experienced Co-ordinator with either, Building, Construction, Planning or Insurance sector experience. This is a busy, autonomous role requiring a great deal of organsational skills and the ability to problem solve effectively in a high pressured environment. The role involves taking full control of co-ordinating the contractors who are carrying out repairs at Policy holders homes. You will be resolving issues and complaints and visiting contractors sites and policyholders to resolve these. KEY DUTIES: Assist with the management and auditing of Contractors, complaints, quality of works, relationships, age debt, dispute resolution.Day to day management of the Contractors, ensure that service levels and standard procedures are followed.Field visits to Contractors premises and visits at policyholder premises to undertake audits of on site works and completed jobs.Assess the extent of works being undertaken as per scope and quality of workmanship and timescales for works to completion.Complete of Site Notes, Reports and Audit formsTake ownership of Contractor complaints and ensure assessed and resolved promptly and all parties kept updated and suitable actions and resolution agreed and follow up to conclusion and agree any compensation, reimbursements etcTake ownership of Contractor aged debt lists and ensure reviewed, agreed, and chase relevant parties to progress payments promptly.Advise policyholders on terms, limits of cover and policy liabilityProvide face to face advice and assistance to policyholders in a professional manner This is a great opportunity to work for a large, dynamic and fast growing Insurance Broker with lots of long term opportunities.
