Apply now QUALITY ASSISTANT MANAGER - PACKAGING / PHARMACEUTICAL Bourne Area Salary - £22-32K 9AM-5PM Company - Packaging Graphics company in the spirits, healthcare, confectionery, beauty, media, and consumer brands industry. Established in 2005, work circa 7000 employees and has presence globally in three continents.GENERAL PURPOSE: To support the Quality Manager in reviewing, implementing and assessing processes and procedures on site in the manufacture of packaging predominately for the pharmaceutical industry and in accordance with good manufacturing practice including ISO, BRC and pharmaceutical code of practice standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The role focuses on compliance, customers and continuous improvement activities and encompasses: To take responsibility for and manage all administrative tasks within the quality function and provide robust administrative support to the Quality Manager in line with Pharmaceutical Code of Practice (1S09001:2015 & PS9000:2016).Lead investigations and respond to customer complaintsLead site audits and customer visitsVisit customers to support issue resolution and continuous improvement activities as requiredConduct risk assessments of equipment and processesManage department database (Q Pulse) logging non conformances and preparing and gathering corrective and preventive action (CAPA) statements from key stakeholdersLead and provide feedback on routine internal audit inspections to ensure site adherence to the quality management system including environmental and health and safety activities in accordance with corporate guidelines and site accreditations to promote best practiceLead CAPA review meetings and advise on improvements required and support implementation of sameTo support and lead quality meetings and record action points and distribute minutes as required and review project tracker for actions and improvements as requiredVisit suppliers and conduct supplier audits as requiredMaintain the Quality system (Q Pulse) ensuring all data is input accurately and timely and reports ran and presented to the Quality Manager as appropriateReview controlled documentation and amend where necessary and ensure a robust change control processes in placeLead GMP activities and update training records and ensure all employees have completed key training modules in line with Pharmaceutical Code of PracticeOversee refresher training is completed following changes to systems of working caused by production or customer specification changesGather, collate, analyze and present information using a range of media to a variety of target audiences i.e. preparing written reports or visual presentationsTo support business improvement projects and associated administrative tasks and activitiesParticipate in continuous development and training QUALIFICATIONS: Degree or diploma in relevant discipline or 2 years' experience in a similar roleAbility to sort and input information with accuracy and speedIT literate including Microsoft office, excel and PowerPointExperience in implementing improvement projectsPrevious demonstrable knowledge of environmental and health and safety desirable but not essentialEvidence of working effectively within a team Interviews are being conducted as soon as possible for this vacancy, so if you are interested please get in touch as soon as possible and register your details with us.
