This will be a supplier facing quality engineer role where the successful candidate will work to get the right product quality at the right time in line with the organisations supply chain expertise and solutions. Requirements Ability to work with suppliers to ensure quality standards/ requirements are met and any issues are resolvedApplication of quality improvement tools/activities to maximise improvement opportunityTo verify corrective actionsExperience with: RCA, 5Y's, 8D's, PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001, Lean, TEP, Supplier development The ideal candidate does not have to come from an aerospace/defence background; applicants outside of those sectors with a strong background in quality manufacturing/production are equally as suitable. The preference for this role is that a candidate comes from a fast paced background regardless of specific sector.
