Apply now Our client seek a Reinsurance Technician to work within their expanding team. Duties will include assisting with the implementation of new Ceded Reinsurance systems through the project phases and maintaining query log databases detailing all queried losses to monitor and resolve any reinsurer queries in relation to notified losses. The successful candidate will have previous reinsurance experience in the London Market.Main ResponsibilitiesHandling Facultative, Quota Share & Excess of Loss ReinsuranceIdentification of losses and or circumstances notified under risks having facultative protection where such loss exceeds or potentially exceeds any contractual reporting thresholdReview of losses and or circumstances against the terms and conditions of the reinsurance contract Preparation of all billing and reserve notifications to brokers and reinsurers.Ensure compliance to any contractual reporting triggers.For Excess of Loss, Calculation of any reinstatement cost.Ensure compliance to any contractual reporting triggersExperience RequiredUnderstanding of all major types of reinsurance i.e. Facultative, Quota Share and Excess of Loss.Ideally experience in all classes of reinsuranceGood IT skills with an intermediate level or higher knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
