The Role: Within this position you will work as part of the Team in providing quotations, providing expert advice and binding cover for our clients existing & new customer base. You will be responsible for building and maintaining your own pipeline in order to successfully meet the targets which have been set by the Exec. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service and adhere to Company and trade regulations at all times. Developing good working relationships between departments and your peers is also part of this position. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Preparing, issuing and reviewing new and existing business documentation to direct clientsUndertaking telephone-based quotes with prospective clients pre arranged by an appointment bookerFollow up calls to clients to chase decisions, progress of quote etc.Overcoming objections and promoting the key selling features of our clients productsMinor levels of administration and issue of documentationCross-selling of products from our client's portfolio to clients where appropriateAnswering telephone based policy enquiries from existing clientsLiaising with underwriters and insurers to negotiate the best possible terms for clients at New Business stageOperating under delegated authority from insurersBeing the first point of contact for existing clients, acting as client liaisonManagement and retention of existing businessDatabase management of prospective and converted leads.
