Apply now The role of a resident support officer 1 To ensure a smoot running of the office. 2 deals with enquiries from the residents pertaining to their stay. 3 To book new Residents in/out of the hostel, and ensuring that the right resident occupies the right flat 4 monitor visitors to the hostel, ensuring they don't stay overnight. 5 ensure the environment is clean and all fire exits are free from items. 6 observe fire and safety regulations 7 complete building checks and paper work. 8 Log and report all fault and damages to the manager and any appropriate authority if necessary 9 over see the security of the Building, monitoring CCTV and calling the emergency services if required 10 informing your line manager of any incidences that may occur in the Hostel and complete the required paper work, by filling the incident report form. Duties and Responsibilities Previous Porter, warden, caretaker, hostel or supported living accommodation experience is essential. Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures in a work place and Residence The ability to be able to use your initiatives and demonstrate common sense approach to duties Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance. Good spoken and written English skills. Clean and tidy appearance always Respond to queries professionally or refer queries to your line manager when you are not sure Basic computer skills required- email, MS, Word and Excel Experience using CCTV Equipment is desirable Able to develop professional relationship with a wide range of people inside and outside the company. Self-motivated with minimal supervision as part of a team. Flexible approach to changing circumstances with a willingness to undergo training and take on new tasks.
