The opportunity An opportunity has arisen to lead the firm's busy Residential Property team in the Studley office, handling an interesting and varied caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, Help to Buy purchases, new leases and lease extensions, mortgages and re-mortgages and estate development. The position is likely to suit a Solicitor with High Street law firm experience rather than a volume Conveyancer, but all applications will be considered on merit.The successful candidate will be supported by a post-completion clerk, a paralegal and two experienced secretaries. Additional support will be available from Property Solicitors in the firm's Commercial Property and Private Client teams, with supervision provided at Director level. About you To be considered for this position, you must have sound knowledge of property law and experience of all aspects of residential conveyancing. You must also: Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with a solid academic backgroundHave a minimum of 2 years' experience of residential property workBe highly professional, dedicated and possess excellent client care skillsHave proven business development skills and be able to help grow the firm's practice In return The firm is offering a competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
