Apply now Retail Data Analyst Marlow Package & Benefits: £25K - £30k per annum Terms & Conditions 42.5 Hrs per Week - 8:30am - 18:00 Monday - Friday Role Overview This exciting new position has arisen due to company growth. The role of the Retail Data Analyst will be to manage the full product lifecycle through our business whilst ensuring that our inventory stays within agreed KPIs. They will have responsibility for creating and managing our annual total product forecast which will then be broken down by category and supplier. To support this activity weekly reports will be required to share with the departments heads highlighting our total actual vs. forecast by manufacturer along which the performance of each business unit actual vs. forecast. The role will also be required to support the leadership team with regular management information reports. You will be working within the purchasing department but also closely with the finance team and business leads providing reporting, insight and guidance on all aspects of inventory and product performance. This is a Vendor- facing role, managing Vendors and seeing them on a weekly basis. Need to be able to manage stock held and forecast stock inwards. Analysing data to identify trends and make informed planning decisions. Role Responsibilities Create daily, weekly & monthly reporting for all inventory holdings. Managing inventory usage and replenishment across key holdings Implement improvement processes and systems to optimise inventory, reduce costs and improve working capital Supplier forecast management and inventory control. Working with ERP team to ensure the systems reporting is optimised as per the inventory requirements. Responsible for managing internal stock count calendar Deliver analysis and reports to support decision making. Support board with Management Information demands Role Required Behaviours & Skills Experience of working within a dynamic working environment preferably in retail. Numeracy, analytical thinking and attention to detail. Advanced Spreadsheet Skills - Able to integrate data from numerous different sources. Strong analytical skill and the ability to interpret financial and non-financial data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple functions and cultures. Highly IT literate with good system skills / understanding. Self-Starter - Able to identify the issues and use intuition to resolve. Must have Retail experience - Expert on Excel and systems Experience of vendor relationships Merchandising Stock Used to reporting lines - and Structure of Reports Somebody previously maybe managing 2/3 channels Used to Forecasting Analysing sales trends Generating Data for MD and Senior Director
