This role will be based in the toddler room and require the candidate to have relevant experience of working in a nursery setting. Person Specification: NNEB, Cache, or NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification Experience working with toddlers Experience of directing staff Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable) Paediatric First Aid (Desirable) Some of the Room leader responsibilities will include: Reviewing and monitoring planning within rooms to ensure stimulating opportunities are continually provided for the children's age and stage of developmentTo ensure all staff understand and comply with all nursery policy and proceduresTo mentor staff and carry our regular supervisions and identify training needsTo Ensure all nursery documentation is accurately maintained, this includes registers, risk assessments, medication, accident and incident formsTo work in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationshipsAttending staff meetings and training as required Benefits: Training ongoing support and career development Due to the nature of this job, candidates will be subject to UK eligibility checks together with Enhance Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks Apply now for immediate interview
