Apply now Prospero Teaching are looking for a Learning Support Assistant with experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental health difficulties (SEMH). If you are looking for work in the Heckingham area and would like to make a positive difference to children's lives then we would love to hear from you.About the school and contract:*We are looking for an LSA to work in a small SEMH School in the Heckingham area.*This is initially for an ongoing supply role but could lead to something longer term for the right candidate.*The successful candidate will be supporting students in small groups and with students on a 1:1 basis.*The school cater for 8-14 year olds, hence you will be working with students across this age group.About the successful SEMH LSA:*Previous LSA experience, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this in not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.*Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous *A passion for working with children with SEMH.*Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.To be eligible the SEMH LSA must have/be:*Previous classroom experience.*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.*Lots of energy and enthusiasm.*The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.*Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with Parents/Carers.Please apply now with your updated CV, if this position is of interest.If you have a friend who you think would be interested in this vacancy then please refer them to us and you could earn £150 from our Refer a Friend scheme.
