Job Description: SMART EDUCATION are recruiting for Qualified Teachers to provide home tuition provision for students with a range of special needs currently awaiting school placements. Hours are flexible between 5 to 25 hours per week available. Additional Planning and Preparation time is also payable. We are looking for Tutors who hold Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent Qualifications and experience teaching students with Special Needs. This is an independent and self-guided role, you will need access to your own resources and work sheets etc. This role will ideally suit candidates looking to move away from a fulltime teaching role, as the hours are flexible and whilst planning and preparation is involved you will usually only be working with 2-3 students per week. There is a continuous flow of referrals throughout the academic year, so hours are reliable and regular. Experience and Knowledge of teaching Students with special needs is a necessity.
