Apply now Have you got experience working within SEND?Do you think you are ideal for a Specialised Learning Support role?Monarch Education are currently looking to recruit new staff members to our dedicated Learning Support Plus Service in the Black Country area.This is a service we run to help schools with staff who are required to work with students who require additional support in the classroom. LSP staff are required to work with the students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. The aims of the placements include:-Working one-to-one with SEN Children; including those on the Autistic Spectrum-Working with small groups of children to raise attainment in Numeracy and/or Literacy-Supporting the inclusion of a child back in to mainstream school-Providing support and guidance for an EAL student-Managing the behaviour and concentration of a student in the classroom-Providing SEMH support-Supporting pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) You will have a desire to want to make a difference to a student's experience throughout school and you will be able to show that you have achieved this in previous roles. If your preferred role is within SEN; you will also have a speciality within SEND and have the knowledge needed to work within an SEND department. If you are interested in securing an Intervention role, you will have a track record in raising pupil attainment and bridging gaps in progress.There are many roles currently being recruited for with a variety of schools across the Black Country. LSP staff will also get the opportunity to work with all Key Stages, all roles will begin on a temporary basis and should the candidate be the ideal fit for the school, there may be potential for permanent contracts being arranged.
