Apply now SEND Teacher - East London Are you interested in making a difference to children or young people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Teaching Talent has vacancies in the following London Boroughs, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Waltham Forest. We are looking for caring and passionate teachers (QTS) to work with students with one or a combination of the following SEN needs: Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) (EBD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (ASC) Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Hearing or Visual Impairment (VI) (HI) We have full and part time roles available for teachers who are looking for temporary, contract or permanent positions. Rates of pay are £130.00 - £165.00 per day depending on the role and permanent roles from £25,000 - £36,000 per annum These roles will provide the opportunity for enthusiastic teachers who hold QTS, QTLS or a PGCE to contribute to the lives of children with SEND, you will be working alongside other professionals and be well supported by a team of experienced practitioners and managers. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills, have successful teaching experience and a commitment to ongoing development. You will ideally have good mentoring skills for these roles, and teachers with knowledge of creative subjects will also be looked at favourably. Experience of de-escalation training such as Team Teach, School Safe or MAPA training is desirable but not essential. Our SEND team collectively have over 40 years of SEND experience so have the knowledge to find you your next SEND role.
