Successful candidates will have at least one year's experience supporting pupils within a school setting. Experience of working with pupils with a range of needs would be advantageous, as would a knowledge of PECS and Makaton. This is a good school with an excellent SENCO and dynamic head. Our school is looking for a teaching assistant who is dedicated, reliable and confident in his/her ability to work both one to one and as a general classroom support. Successful teaching assistant candidates will hold a relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification or an undergraduate degree.
