Apply now A primary school in South Manchester is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be hard-working and flexible. In this role, you will be based in Year 4, working with pupils in small groups and helping to improve their behaviour and engagement with their lessons. You will be supporting them throughout their school day, helping them to focus on their lessons. Due to the challenging behaviour of some of the pupils, somebody experienced in using Team Teach would be ideal. The school has a high percentage of SEN, so you should have a good knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work with pupils with learning difficulties and you will also need to be a confident and patient individual who has competent behaviour management skills. Desirable qualities; - Experience of working with children with Challenging Behaviour - Team Teach is preferable - Communication skills are essential. - Dynamic and flexible. - Inspirational to children and staff and have a passion for excelling If this sounds like the school and role for you then please send your CV ASAP.
