Iris uses a proven delivery model that operates globally in partnership with Nokia. This is an exciting opportunity to take the leadership position in the SHEQ team. They are looking for a SHEQ Director who will be a member of the senior management team that defines the strategy, drives implementation and monitors the performance of the health, safety, environment and quality programmes to meet the company ambitions. The SHEQ Director will be responsible for: ensuring that their clients are taken quickly and effectively through the Company's embedded processes to achieve cost savings;That tasks within the process are assigned, using Their digital platform, to remote team members appropriately;That all assigned work is followed up on ensuring that deadlines are achieved and that no client stagnates in the process;That all team members, currently 8 remote workers, are appropriately managed to ensure they remain engaged with the business and their processes;that their clients remain updated as to the progress of their account;monitoring work levels and signing-off on remote workers timesheets;assist in updating processes and associated process maps;ensure their client databases and CRM systems are updated immediately for complete clarity on the account;working with the Operations Manager on specific improvement projects e.g. tidying up of databases, systematic shortening of turnaround time To be successful in the role you will have: progressive quality and managerial experienceCMIOSH or working towardsWorking knowledge of management systems - ISO9001 essential - OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001 extremely beneficialTelecommunication knowledge experience would be advantageousExperience of leading a team to achieve specified goals and business improvements The Company Offers: You would receive all the benefits of working in a forward thinking business reporting to the Managing Director.
