The right teacher will need to be able to teach general Science to key stages 3 and 4 and ideally their own specialism to KS5. The KS5 is not pivotal to the role. The Head of Faculty has stated that due to the strength of the current Science teachers within the department, he is flexible on the specialism of the Science teacher they appoint. He is also flexible on whether they teach just KS3 and KS4 or whether they teach right up to A-Level. This school has a fantastic SLT and is renowned for their supportive programmes for both NQT and experienced teachers.
