If so, read on!Our client is looking for Parks keepers with driving experience to maintain various parks and open spaces in the Borough.Responsibilities are:?To constitute a visible presence in Parks and Open spaces on a seven day per week basis and during all site opening times by undertaking regular patrols.?To remove graffiti, detritus and litter?To maintain public conveniences, play equipment, buildings and other features in Parks and Open Spaces in a clean and safe condition?To provide accurate and appropriate information to users of Parks and Open spaces?To undertake regular site inspections to ensure the Health and safety of users of Parks and Open spaces?To log all reported incidents and provide written reports of all incidents, inspections and defects?To ensure the security of Parks and Open Spaces: including the locking and unlocking of entrances as required?To respond effectively to emergencies and within an appropriate timeframe?To administer first aid as required?Carry out general grounds maintenance in all areas of Parks to achieve high standards of horticulture and presentation?Operate and maintain machinery, vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner?Supervise and maintain the children's playground and paddling pool to enable children to enjoy this facility safely?Undertake any other responsibilities that may be required by the Head Gardener, commensurate with the grading of the post?To work an average of 36hours per weekTo deliver that you must be able to demonstrate:?Ability to drive parks vehicles(including trailers if required)?Positive attitude in all work situations?Ability to operate parks related machinery?Mobility across the Borough?Ability to work outdoors and in all weathers to ensure ongoing service delivery?Willingness to work where chemicals have been used.?Ability to manually empty litter/refuse containers, to clear accumulations of litter and fly tips and to load vehicles?Ability to identify and make safe defects to facilities and equipment in Parks and open Spaces.Benefits: ?Temporary on-going position?£11.48 per hour + holiday pay ?In-house induction and training?Working with experienced Park Keepers.If you're passionate about delivering a high quality gardening service, apply today for an immediate interviewRandstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
