Apply now Security Trainer - North West England£26,000 per annum plus mileageFull-time/Permanent Our client is an Ofsted Grade 2 national training provider who are committed to providing a high quality learning provision in a range of occupational areas. They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Tutor to deliver classroom Traineeship and Pre-Employment Courses in Security across the the North West region of England. The ideal candidate will have a solid occupational background in Security, with classroom teaching experience and a formal teaching qualification. You must be able to drive and be willing to cover the North West region including Liverpool (City Centre), Manchester, Warrington, Crewe, Preston with occasional visits across to Birmingham. Key responsibilities and accountabilities to undertake this role include:Deliver formal teaching sessions in Security, including Door Supervision, Conflict Management and Physical Intervention. These courses should lead on to the learners being able to take their SIA Badge.Support Learners, through initial and diagnostic assessment, leading to the development of an individual learning plan, Manage a caseload of Learners, ensuring that they make progress in accordance with their learning plan. Provide appropriate tuition, to enable learners to be successful in their traineeship or pre-employment courseRecord learner progress in the prescribed manner. You will need to have the following:* Be a qualified and experienced classroom trainer * Practical experience in the delivery of Security (holding a teaching qualification; PTLLS or equivalent or higher)* Solid occupational experience in the Security industry and ideally a relevant qualification* Full driving licence and car owner. Standard hours are 35 hours per week, between the hours of 9 am to 5pm however you should be willing to work variable hours when necessary to meet the requirements of the post. Salary is £26,000 pa, depending on experience and qualifications. Mileage is paid at 45p per mile.
