Apply on employer's website Due to continued expansion, we are now seeking an ambitious Senior Company Secretarial Assistant to join the Prism Cosec team. Working as part of a highly experienced team, your role will be to proactively support the delivery of a first class service to Prism clients through the provision of company secretarial administrative support. This will broadly include maintaining the statutory records of client companies, co-ordinating the preparation and filing of statutory forms and returns at Companies House, and other administrative tasks required to ensure clients meet their statutory and regulatory compliance obligations. This role offers a great opportunity for someone who is looking to further develop their skills and experience. The preference for the role is part time (equiv. 3 days per week), however full time may be considered. The role will be based out of our Walton-on-Thames office. Core Duties/Responsibilities Maintaining statutory records for client companies using company secretarial software packagesCompiling, maintaining and updating compliance diaries for clients to ensure that statutory and regulatory filing deadlines are communicated and metPreparing statutory forms and returns, and any other supporting documents, for the approval and/or signature by clientsFiling statutory forms and returns at Companies House (including the annual Confirmation Statement)Preparing routine minutes to support the approval of statutory forms and returns, including minutes to approve the annual financial statements of client companiesPreparing dormant accounts for client companiesIncorporating new companies, and dealing with post incorporation matters (appointment of Directors/Secretary, change of accounting reference date, etc.) as requiredMaintaining and updating minute books for client companies, and ensuring that statutory retention periods are adhered toProviding reports and statutory information to clients on requestAssisting with the production of annual and quarterly invoicing as requiredDeveloping and improving internal procedures and processes to ensure they continue to support the delivery of services to clients on time and to a high standard Skills, Capabilities and Attributes A sound grasp of corporate governance issues with established company secretarial experienceExcellent reporting skillsDemonstrable knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPointStrong time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and clientsAccuracy and attention to detail, a well-organised approach to workThe capability to work with numerical information, plus analytical and problem-solving skills; a diplomatic approach and the confidence to provide support to high-profile company staff and board membersIntegrity and discretion when handling confidential informationKnowledge and use of Blueprint and GEMS company secretarial softwareICSA qualified or part-qualified - not essential but highly desirable What we offer in return This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career further within the cosec space.
