The company provide an outstanding service to their clients, as a result they have a fantastic portfolio of large blue chip clients in leisure, sporting and the educational sectors predominantly. This position is within the company Service Division where a Senior Level Technical Engineer will be tasked with the ongoing Management of a selection of clients within a geographical area. The Engineer will provide an on site engineering service for the sites Electronic Security Systems; ensuring the systems are maintained to the highest level and all faults rectified within a time allocation. The Engineer will also account manage the clients, spending time with them analysing the systems performance and discussing areas for improvement. Hence the job title Area Service Manager This role is very unique, the Engineer / Area Manager will manage their own diary and workload based on what is required by their specific clients, allowing them the freedom to fulfil their workload as they deem most appropriate. They will be responsible for clients in Surrey, Berkshire, West London areas predominantly. The Senior Engineer / Area Manager will be responsible for and have the support from junior Engineers, who will have their own work load but are there to support the Senior Engineer where needed. The Senior Engineer is expected to help with the training and development of the Junior EngineersThe Senior Engineer has the full support from an administration team dedicated to the role of supporting the company engineers - they are there assist with anything that is needed, with their predominant role being administrative type of support.The role does require the Senior Engineer / Area Manager to work on and fault find on a variety of Electronic Security Systems so applicants must have a strong technical background with Security Systems Engineering - this is to include IP, Networked CCTV system ideally. The Applicant needs to have a good diagnostic fault finding approach with good technical skills. The company however will look to develop the Senior Engineers further with a lot of specific training and development.The role does require the Senior Engineer / Area Manager to meet with their clients regularly and have meetings - therefore applicants need to be well presented, a good communicator and have the confidence and professional approach to fulfil this.For the right Industry professional this is an outstanding opportunity to join a very unique business, one that approaches the provision of Electronic Security Systems maintenance very different.
