Apply now Currently working with a Tier 1 national contractor looking to recruit a site manager who has experience on multi million pound builds, as the No1 manager on the project. Someone with a keen eye for detail, organisational skills and the ability to run a site. Responsible for planning the development of a site, managing all aspects of the construction process, including the quality, providing excellent customer service and ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to at all times. Responsibilities Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targetsManaging the day to day operation from foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant including material lead timesEnsuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programmeProviding accurate and regular reports on progress and datesControlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditureDriving through quality at every stage of the construction processEnsures the development pass internal and external inspection processesEnsuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered toTaking responsibility for self-development and the development of othersMonitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to sub-contractorsEnsuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupationEnsure customer service remains of the highest priority at all times with everyone on site Qualifications SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid The above qualifications are required as a minimum.
