Apply now Vida Energy are currently working in partnership with a large oil and gail operator in Saudi Arabia to recruit a Senior technical marketing Engineer to provide technical support to flexible slabstock foam customers across Middle East Zone. It is essential to have a hands-on approach to polyurethane foam processing equipment and to assisting customers in process related troubleshooting. The candidate will work closely with the respective account managers as part of the Marketing and Sales team, TM colleagues and report to Technical Marketing Manager MEZ. Key Job Responsibilities: Technical subject matter expert in polyols/TDI/PMDI and flexible slabstock foamingOwnership and accountability for customers and business sustainable application/product developmentUnderstand customer needs, capabilities and strategies to leverage Sadara PU developments enabling new businessFormulation development aimed to meet and exceed customer specificationsSpecific knowledge of flexible foam formulation development and technical support / implementationCoach customer on product use, lead production trials within customer facilities and thoroughly document findingsResponds quickly and confidently to requests of customers and resolve quality issuesOperate to and endorse the highest safety standards, quality processes and proceduresCommunicate effectively to customers, leadership and across functionsWillingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia and travel to customers in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and eventually Iran, Iraq and Syria. Skills MSc, BSc or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or a closely related fieldMore than 10 years' experience in PU technology and slabstock foaming experience is highly preferredProven history of successful project management and customer relations based on interpersonal skills and understandingMust have the ability to identify problems and provide creative solutionsExcellent written and oral communication skills both internally and externally Remuneration: Bachelor Status12 Month Rolling ContractSalary $7000 - $10000 USD per month40% additional living allowance42 Days Annual Leave (Maximum 2 leaves per year)Travel Expenses Interested parties are encouraged to apply ASAP.
