You will be acting as the senior 'go to' person for development and technical matters. The Role You will act as a senior member of an established niche underwriting team based in Birmingham, acting as an 'all rounder' with the task of owning a case load of more technical/complex risks, holding regular dialogue with Brokers in the region and contributing to the development of your colleagues. You will use your technical ability to select appropriate risks and rate them effectively whilst retaining the ability to hold quality (not always easy) conversations with Brokers. Additionally you will provide a referral point for colleagues whilst contributing to team training, audits, coaching and developing colleagues on technical and development matters.
