In this role you will work closely with and support the Underwriting Manager in overseeing and controlling all reporting responsibilities and monitoring the activities of a specialist Underwriting Unit.This is a senior position with a diverse range of duties drawing on a broad spectrum of skills, experience and knowledge.- Recording of premium, claims, expenses and payments- Investigate premium / claims movements- Review reserving process- Maintain audit trail- Support business planning and forecasting - Financial reconciliation- Monitor and prepare payments / Preparation of payment bordereaux- Aged debt analysis- Provide a variety of Management Information- Ensure the integrity of data held within the department- Review existing processes and identify areas for enhancement - Assist in creating performance review material- Ad hoc project workAs this is a key position requiring a very eclectic mix of skills and expertise our client is looking for an experienced analyst or senior technician with a strong background within the Lloyds London (re)insurance markets. Key skills will include financial accounting, reporting and data analysis, ability to conduct account reconciliation's, experience with bordereaux and advanced MS excel.
