The role: Informing customers of their ongoing vehicle statusAttend morning meetings with key members of staffPromoting of the Company and its valuesEngage in the VHC process to all van customersDuty of care to all work carried outCustomer account managementUpdating of customer data on every visitHanding over finished vehicles to customersGiving customers detailed explanations on extent of repairsMonitoring whether repairs are being carried out to the required delivery timeDiscussing and arranging payment with customersBooking in of vehicles to ensure continuity of workshop loadingProvide advice on warranties and service requirementsIn the case of legally required inspections, explaining the necessary vehicle test requirementsArrange schedules for MOT/Vehicle inspections Essential Skills: Previous experience in a service advisor role in the motor industryActive listener, ability to communicate and generate enthusiasm within a team environmentAppearance/manner, ability to make contact and build relationshipsAbility to make decisions within a pressure environmentHas no difficulty adapting to a range of people showing varied patterns of behaviourGeneral PC skills including kerridgeCommitment/willingness to ensure customer expectations are achieved If you feel you would be ideal for this role with Motor trade experience, please send your CV immediately or for further information please contact Natalie at the Cardiff Branch of Randstad Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
