My client are a leading New Build Main contractor who specialise in constructing Major Distribution/Industrial Units and Retail Parks Nationwide. They seek the services of a proven Site Manager with vast experience across New Build projects valued upto £10m who has delivered projects from the Ground up. The candidate will need to have worked in a similar environment with a Main Regional Contractor! The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside a Contract Manager to support the programme, implement initial Health & Safety procedures on site, liaise with clients on a frequent basis, deliver the projects along with a complete site team, keep documentation related to planning, site progression and commercial documents. The projects will have a similar programme from earthworks, piling, concreting, steel/concrete frame, cladding or curtain walling, roofing, make water tight and potential for internal mezzanines and M&E 1st fix only. A proven record in delivering a project to this programme is a must. The successful candidate will be either time served with a trade background or education background and have been a No1 SM for at least 5 years plus.
