The school is located in the North London borough of Haringey and has an exciting mix of students from different cultures and backgrounds. There is a high proportion of students with English as an additional Language so the successful Spanish teacher will need to have the skills to differentiate for lots of different ability levels. The School is a large 11-16 Secondary, so your time will be split equally between key stage 3 & 4 Spanish. The ideal Spanish teacher will need to be able to have some experience of teaching exam classes and have the ability to deliver engaging and challenging Spanish lessons. The MFL department is large and well resourced with a supportive HOD who genuinely has the department's best interests at heart.
